Product Description

IQF frozen french fries produced from Spunta and Hermes Egyptian potatoes. Available in 7×7 mm, 9×9 mm, and 12×12 mm straight cuts. Par-fried in sunflower or palm oil. Storage at −18°C, shelf life 18–24 months.

Egyptian frozen french fries are manufactured from Spunta and Hermes variety potatoes grown in the Nile Delta, selected for their high dry-matter content (18–22%) and low reducing sugar profile — both critical for consistent colour and texture through frying. Potatoes are washed, peeled, cut to specification, blanched, par-fried in refined sunflower or palm oil, and IQF frozen at −35°C before bulk packaging. The result is a free-flowing, individually frozen strip that delivers uniform colour development (golden to light amber) on final cook and a consistent texture profile across foodservice and retail applications. Three cut sizes are available: 7×7 mm (thin/shoestring), 9×9 mm (standard), and 12×12 mm (steak/thick cut). Oil type (sunflower or palm) is buyer-specified at order. Packaging in 2.5 kg retail bags, 10 kg foodservice poly bags, or bulk 20 kg are available. All formats are export-ready with full cold-chain documentation.
